The accidental heart glass art.
This piece was a total accident. One of my best works. The glass itself was supposed to be a “fish” but the tail broke and my creativity saw a heart. I was very surprised when I saw after being fired. I immediately fell in love.
After grinding the broken fish tail, I started looking around for red and blue pieces so I could create the veins and part of the muscle.
Here and on the next picture I had already started adding frits to fill the empty spaces and add some texture.
The preview before it was put in the kilm for a Contour fuse or tack fuse. The temperature range is around 1350 to 1375 degrees. This type of fusing is great for texture and layered look.
This is the final stage of this glass piece.
