Baby alien Inspired art
This glass artwork took me around 2 hours to stencil, cut, and glue. That doesn’t include the cooking/firing process, which usually takes a few days to complete.
This piece is a contour fuse.
I truly enjoyed making this piece and had so much fun with it! It was a special project that allowed me to combine my love for glass art with a little bit of Star Wars inspiration
Preparing glass to get cut and shaped.
Here we have the head already cut and shaped.
Here I was cutting and putting the white and brown glass on the places I saw they fit right.
On this image I am adding the arms and the ears.
Here I found a broken piece of clear glass and added to the piece as a background.
At this point I am glueing all the pieces together so I can start adding the last details to the background.
Almost complete! Here you have the glass piece before putting it into the kilm and getting fired into a contour fuse.
